Woodforest Studios is an independent production company built on a single conviction: that disciplined, psychologically precise storytelling is what endures — creatively and commercially.
The studio was founded by Cengiz Dervis, a British actor, writer, and director whose work centres on identity, control, and transformation. A former world kickboxing champion turned filmmaker, he brings the same discipline that defined his sporting career to the screen: controlled intensity, technical precision, and an instinct for characters under pressure. Trained in London, New York, and Los Angeles, he has built a body of work across film and television as a performer and as a writer-director developing original intellectual property — recognised internationally, including a listing among The Top 100 Indie Filmmakers in the World.
